North Carolina Odyssey Migration Status

Latest Status – MIGRATION COMPLETE:

We’re excited to share that the migration of North Carolina’s Mecklenburg County is officially complete. All systems are back online, and this service is running correctly/without interruption.

We appreciate your partnership and feedback throughout this process. We also want to thank our internal team here at Tessera who made this a seamless and efficient migration effort with a high bar for quality assurance.

Overview:  North Carolina’s Judicial Branch is continuing to modernize and expand their eCourts system by transitioning to an Odyssey Case Management System (ICMS). This new system will bring higher efficiencies when accessing electronic criminal data which will allow Tessera to provide data faster and with more accuracy.

Please see key migration milestones below:

  • COMPLETE – Wednesday, October 4th: Legacy applications go into Inquiry-Only Mode in Mecklenburg County; Paper Processes only in Mecklenburg
  • COMPLETE – Friday, October 6th: eCourts applications unavailable in pilot counties Harnett, Johnston, Lee, and Wake between 5:30p-6:00p EST.
  • COMPLETE – Monday, October 9th: Migration scheduled to be completed by NC; Tessera Data to begin testing and QA.
  • COMPLETE – Friday, October 13th: Estimated date for QA and testing completion; county back online with regular service expectations.
